Truck Routing & Customer Service Coordinator (Plant Knowledge Preferred)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Truck Routing & Customer Service Coordinator with plant knowledge to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring efficient delivery operations while coordinating closely with our production yard to fulfill orders accurately and on time.

What You’ll Do
- Plan and coordinate daily truck routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
- Enter and manage customer orders accurately, including plant material and related products
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and sales representatives regarding orders, availability, and delivery schedules
- Provide knowledgeable support on plant selection, substitutions, and basic care considerations
- Work closely with the production yard team to ensure orders are pulled accurately and ready for delivery
- Communicate priorities, timing, and changes clearly between yard staff, drivers, and sales team
- Monitor order fulfillment and proactively address delays, shortages, or discrepancies
- Communicate with drivers to coordinate routes, updates, and delivery needs
- Oversee daily fleet activity, including scheduling and dispatch support
- Monitor and maintain electronic driver logs (ELDs) to ensure compliance
- Adjust routes and priorities in real time to meet changing demands
Qualifications & Skills
- Knowledge of plants, horticulture, landscaping materials, or nursery operations preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Experience in dispatching, routing, logistics, or a related field preferred
- Ability to coordinate effectively with yard or warehouse teams to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with fleet management and electronic driver logs (ELDs) is a plus
- Comfortable using computers, order entry systems, and scheduling software
- Ability to problem-solve quickly and stay organized under pressure
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
