Now we're looking for a skilled, passionate gardener to help us keep it that way.

What You'll Do

You'll be the hands behind the beauty — preparing and maintaining plant beds, operating landscape equipment, supporting horticulturists with plant records, contributing to garden design, and pitching in for special events. No two days look the same, and the office view is unbeatable.

Examples of duties:

• Gardener’s maintain designated gardens to the highest level of quality by working with our Horticulture team to prepare and maintain plant beds.
• Assist the Horticulturists with providing accurate and timely information to the plant records team.
• Supports the Horticulturists and Manager of Horticulture regarding the development of garden areas and participates in planning and design.
• Operates and performs basic service on power and hand-held landscape and gardening equipment including mowers, edgers, blowers, trimmers, chain saws, etc.
• Participates in the production and support of special events and other seasonal activities and is included in weekend duty rotation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of gardening and landscape practices
• Experience with power equipment (mowers, trimmers, edgers, chainsaws, etc.)
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid SC Driver's License
• Ability to work outdoors year-round
• Professional gardening/landscaping experience preferred; Master Gardener Certification a plus
