Gardener
This is a Seasonal Position for our 2026 Summer Season from Now through November

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Operates company vehicles as required.

Prepare soil for planting: including cultivation, adding compost and raking beds.

Plant seeds and transplants, following established planting plans.

Water garden crops manually and by operating irrigation systems.

Harvest crops and prepare for delivery to the Food & Beverage Department and local community organizations.

Follow all safety and sanitation protocols including the use of PPE when necessary.

Track planting schedules, harvest yields and other relevant record keeping.

Perform landscape and garden maintenance inclusive of planting, mulching, trimming, weeding, watering and fertilizer application.

Clear debris, leaves, and litter from guest-facing areas such as lawns, walkways and landscape beds.

Operate landscaping equipment, such as tillers, tractors, mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, edgers; maintain equipment as assigned.

Responsible for use and care of tools and equipment.

Assist with larger landscaping projects such as mulch application, tree removal/planting, new bed installations, etc.

Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution.

All other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED required. Previous experience with landscaping and/or gardening is preferred.
