Materials & Textile Engineering

  • Expertise in advanced fabrics: moisture-wicking, breathable, elastomeric materials
  • Understanding of compression ratings and therapeutic fabric properties
  • Knowledge of neoprene, spandex blends, mesh technologies, and smart textiles
  • Experience with fabric testing standards (durability, elasticity recovery)

5-10 years in specialised athletic/medical apparel design
Portfolio showing injury-specific garment designs
Experience with compression wear, braces, or therapeutic clothing
Track record of bringing products from concept to market

Educational Background

  • Degree in: Textile Engineering, Biomechanics, Sports Science, or Fashion/Apparel Design (with technical focus)
  • Certifications: Plus if they hold credentials in athletic training, physical therapy principles, or sports medicine
  • Continuous Learning: Evidence of professional development in emerging materials or sports tech

Demonstrated Achievements

  • Successful Product Launches: Track record of bringing garments to market that actually solve athlete problems
  • Innovation Patents or Publications: Evidence of original thinking in therapeutic garment design
  • Athlete Testimonials: Garments that have genuinely helped people return to sport
  • Material Breakthroughs: Experience pushing boundaries with new fabric combinations or construction methods
  • Cross-Sport Versatility: Portfolio spanning multiple sports (not just one niche)

Pay: ₹38,086.00 - ₹48,073.39 per month
