Gas Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Gas Maintenance Technician (Electrical & Maintenance) to support the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of gas systems and related electrical components. The role requires strict adherence to UAE safety regulations and Dubai Civil Defence (DCD) standards to ensure safe and uninterrupted gas supply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and servicing of gas pipelines, valves, regulators, and appliances.
• Carry out electrical maintenance related to gas systems, including control panels, detectors, alarms, and emergency shut-off systems.
• Conduct gas leak detection, pressure testing, and system performance checks.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults and mechanical issues in gas systems.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of gas pipelines and electrical controls.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and gas leak complaints as required.
• Follow all safety procedures and comply with DCD and UAE regulations.
• Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and service reports.
• Coordinate with engineers and supervisors during maintenance activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Maintenance Engineering.
• 2–4 years of experience in gas maintenance, electrical maintenance, or related field.
• Knowledge of gas safety standards, electrical wiring, and control systems.
• Experience with gas detectors, alarms, solenoid valves, and control panels is an advantage.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and basic gas system schematics.
• Willingness to attend emergency call-outs and work flexible hours.
• UAE Driving License (preferred).
