Key Job Responsibilities
- Site Supervision & Execution: Supervise the day-to-day erection activities of gas turbines, generators, piping systems, and auxiliaries.
- Technical Alignment: Ensure precise alignment of the gas turbine-generator shaft line and related heavy machinery.
- Drawing & Specification Interpretation: Review and interpret engineering, fabrication, and General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
- Methodology Development: Develop, review, and implement erection methods, sequences, and procedures to ensure structural stability.
- Quality Control (QC): Perform inspections on installation activities, check welding quality, and verify compliance with standards (e.g., ASME, IBR).
- Coordination: Liaise with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure materials and equipment are available on-site as per the schedule.
- Safety Adherence: Ensure compliance with all site safety protocols, including rigging, lifting, and working at heights.
- Documentation: Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, inspection records, and as-built documentation.
