MEP Mechanical Supervisor
- Role Overview: Oversee MEP site operations, coordinating installation and commissioning for HVAC, plumbing, chilled water, and firefighting systems.
- Team Leadership: Direct subcontractors, pipefitters, duct installers, and technicians to meet strict project timelines and blueprints.
- HVAC & Ducting Oversight: Supervise duct installation, air balancing, and ventilation assembly per approved shop drawings.
- Piping & Chilled Water: Manage installation, insulation, hydro-testing, and flushing of chilled water networks and plumbing lines.
- Firefighting Systems: Ensure fire sprinkler networks, hydrants, and pump rooms strictly comply with NFPA codes.
- Materials & Assets: Inspect incoming MEP equipment, approve material requisitions, and manage specialized installation tools.
- Quality Assurance: Review daily progress, perform QA/QC checksheets, and clear consultant punch lists for handover.
- Safety Protocols: Enforce site-wide HSE rules, conduct toolbox talks, and maintain active Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) zones.
- Technical Background: Requires an Engineering Degree or Diploma with 5+ years of core MEP construction site experience.
- Key Competencies: Expert in reading MEP shop drawings, coordinating with civil teams, and writing progress reports.
