Gas Turbine (GT) Erection Mechanical Supervisor

- responsible for overseeing the on-site installation, alignment, and assembly of gas turbines, generators, and associated auxiliary systems. This role bridges engineering design and field execution, ensuring that complex rotating equipment and structural steel components are installed according to manufacturer specifications, project drawings, and high-safety standards.

Key Job Responsibilities

• GT & Equipment Erection: Supervise the installation of gas turbines, generators, air-cooled condensers (ACC), pumps, and associated piping.
• Precision Alignment: Oversee precision alignment of rotating equipment (axial and radial), including base frame checks, leveling, and coupling alignment.
• Structural & Piping Work: Coordinate the fabrication and erection of steel structures, pipe supports, and piping systems (e.g., fuel gas, lube oil, inlet/exhaust).
• Technical Compliance: Interpret detailed engineering drawings (P&ID, GA, ISO), specifications, and method statements to guide technicians.
• Safety Enforcement: Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols, including Permits to Work (PTW), Risk Assessments, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Quality Control: Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections, including NDT, hydro-testing, and torque records.
• Project Monitoring: Track daily progress, manage subcontractors, and report potential delays to the Project Manager or Superintendent.
• Pre-Commissioning: Support the mechanical completion and handover process by resolving punch list items
