Gas Turbine (GT) Piping Auxiliary Mechanical Engineer

- responsible for designing, procuring, and overseeing the installation of the mechanical systems that support gas turbine operation. They ensure that auxiliary systems—such as lube oil, fuel gas, and cooling systems—are properly designed, fabricated, and installed to meet project specifications, safety, and operational standards.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design and Engineering: Develop design packages (piping layouts, isometrics, and P&IDs) for GT auxiliary systems, including lube oil units, fuel gas conditioning, air intake, and exhaust ducts.
  • Technical Specification & Procurement: Prepare technical specifications, data sheets, and request for quotations (RFQs) for piping components and auxiliary equipment.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors for equipment fabrication, ensuring compliance with code, contract, and schedule requirements.
  • Construction and Site Support: Supervise piping fabrication, erection, and installation at the construction site to ensure adherence to approved drawings.
  • Pre-commissioning and Commissioning: Participate in testing activities (hydrotests, flushing, and leak tests) to ensure system readiness.
  • Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Identify and resolve mechanical, piping, and structural issues, supporting the maintenance of plant equipment.
