What You'll Do

• Disassemble, inspect, and assemble gas turbine rotor components as required.
• Independently tension and tighten rotor parts using hydraulic tools, such as torque wrenches and tensioners/H-pump, up to 25,000 PSI or more.
• Use measurement tools including micrometers, depth gauges, and dial indicators.
• Utilize mechanical hand tools and understand their functionality.
• Balance gas turbine compressor and turbine rotors.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
• Comply with all safety standards and procedures.
• Align with the company Quality Policy and applicable rules and procedures.
• Read and interpret work instructions and process prints.
• Operate horizontal and vertical balancing machines.
• Blend and grind as required.

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or Technical College.
• A minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a mechanical technician in a related industry.

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Crane Operator Certificate.
• NDT Level I Certificate.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office software.
