About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled GCP Data Engineer with expertise in GCP DataProc, BigQuery, PySpark, Python, and SQL to work on international client projects. The ideal candidate should be able to design and optimize large-scale data pipelines, manage complex transformations, and ensure seamless data integration. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and fluency in English to collaborate effectively with global teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and ETL workflows on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Work extensively with GCP DataProc and BigQuery for scalable data storage, transformation, and analytics.
• Develop, test, and maintain PySpark-based data processing solutions.
• Write efficient SQL queries and Python scripts to support data engineering tasks.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance tuning across data workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across international time zones to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Adhere to data governance, compliance, and client security standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–6 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong hands-on expertise in GCP DataProc and BigQuery.
• Proficiency in PySpark, Python, and SQL.
• Experience working with large-scale distributed data systems.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills for complex data issues.
• English fluency (verbal & written) to work in an international environment.

Additional Notes

• Background Verification (BGV) is mandatory, including:
• Employment Check
• PCC – Police Clearance Certificate (Criminal Record Check)
• Dual employment is strictly not allowed. If applicable, it must be terminated immediately.
• Candidate must be an In-house Bench Resource of the vendor.
