The Physician Assistant Aide will help increase, expand, and/or enhance health programs and services by helping patients and/or clients along in the intake process, model mental health coping skills and strategies needed for resiliency, while actively listening for indicators that the patient/client needs access to mental health resources and discreetly providing those resources to the patient. The Physician Assistant (PA) Program at Idaho State University awards the Masters of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree and a PA certificate upon successful completion of its 24-month graduate curriculum. Idaho State University Department of Physician Assistant Studies is the preferred educational destination for individuals who desire to be trained in a student-centered, service-oriented environment. All PA faculty are licensed professionals who remain clinically active. Duties may include Position Duties:

Learning and practicing the Spanish language through various Spanish speaking rotations.

Thriving in a high-tech and high touch environment.

Handing out mental health resource

Utilization of open-door policies to facilitate more contact between students and faculty.
