GEN. MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN II

Primary Purpose Of The Job

Carry out skilled maintenance and repair of various types of Stationary equipment like Boilers. Heat exchangers, Water treatment plant, Marine/crude loading arm, Piping system, all types of valves except Control valves, Firefighting systems, Heaters, Vessels, Columns, Reactors, Furnaces etc. installed at QatarEnergy Refinery, Chemical Plants, Berth 6, BSV3, Station C1 at Hamad Intl. Airport (HIA) and Tank farms

Required Experience And Skills

• Minimum 8 years experience in Refinery/Oil & Gas /petrochemical industry.
• Possesses a minimum of level 5 in English communication skills (oral/written)
• Extensive knowledge of stationary equipment.
• Ability to work in a multi national environment.
• Capable of using computer for creating permits in RIS, experience of using SAP & MS Office (Word & Excel).
  
  

Educational Qualifications

Diploma/ Certificate in Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
