General Accountant

Full job description

A Dubai based Company is urgently looking for an Accountant/Senior Accountant who will be an effective addition to their growing team.

The ideal candidate will have significant exposure to managing financial operations, maintaining all aspects of accounting and book keeping services.

The core responsibilities are:

- Ensuring accurate and error-free accounting entries.

- Preparing Service Invoices for clients, payments, checks, transfers, and receipts and confirming they were delivered and received by the concerned parties

- Preparing of banks, clients and suppliers reconciliations and following up

- Preparing on a periodic basis the Receivables aging reports, communicating the collection schedules, confirm the recording accuracy of receipts from clients and ensuring that all due invoices are paid on time

- Assisting in the preparation of monthly and yearly accounting reports.

- Managing the financial operations of clients via bank transfers, invoicing and payments

- Preparing trial balance, maintaining account records and preparation of annual audits for the clients.

- Managing the overall in-house accounting procedures and book keeping.

- Handle all accounts payables and receivables on daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis.

- Perform Day to Day financial transactions in accounts

- Carrying out Financial due diligence

- Financial report analysis and provide recommendations to the management for effective finance and cost management.

- Coordinates with Internal & External auditors for auditing functions

- handle various responsibilities, directly and indirectly, related to accounting, inventory, bank reconciliation, petty cash, liaising with internal teams as and when required

-Ability to understand Tax calculation, filing and reporting.

THE CANDIDATE SHOULD BE ABLE TO HANDLE ACCOUNTS INDEPENDENTLY AND POSSESS MULTI-TASKING ABILITIES

- 2-3 years accounting experience

- Bachelors in Accounting or Finance

- ACCA/ CIMA or ACA or CPA is preferable

- Performing Audit and Analyzing Audit Report is preferable.

- Excellent MS Excel capabilities

- Excellent attention to detail, good time management, Analytical thinking

- The candidate MUST BE willing to work long hours to achieve the Company’s objective.

- ACCOUNTING IN HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY IS PREFERABLE WITH GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF QUICKBOOKS AND FUNDAMENTALS OF AUDIT.
