General Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a General Accountant with at least 2 years of experience in the F&B industry to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will handle daily accounting operations, ensure financial accuracy, and maintain compliance with UAE FTA regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including payables, receivables, and journal entries.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, ledgers, and balance sheets.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with UAE FTA requirements.
• Support management with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring.
• Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist auditors during annual audits and ensure all documentation is in order.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the F&B or hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of UAE FTA and VAT filing procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar).
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Must be available to join immediately.
