About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will handle daily financial operations, ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations, and support management with accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate accounting records and ledgers (AP, AR, general ledger, bank reconciliations).

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Handle VAT filing, reconciliation, and return submissions in compliance with FTA requirements.

Manage Corporate Tax calculations, registration, and returns as per UAE regulations.

Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and local laws.

Assist auditors during year-end audits and financial reviews.

Prepare management reports and provide insights on financial performance.

Oversee petty cash, expense claims, and supplier payments.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience in the UAE (preferably in contracting/trading sector).

Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax laws is mandatory.

Proficiency in accounting software (Tally / QuickBooks / Zoho / or similar).

Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

Experience preparing management budgets and cash flow forecasts.

Familiarity with FTA portals and online submissions.

Strong Excel and reporting skills.

Multitasking ability and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
