General Accountant

We are currently seeking a General Accountant to join Aulysius ME.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting principles, admin task along with a deep understanding of financial regulations specific to the UAE.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with our diverse team of Tech Professionals to ensure accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

1. Financial Reporting:

- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards (IFRS).

- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results to senior management and stakeholders.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Lead the budgeting process, working with various departments to prepare annual budgets and forecasts.

- Monitor budget vs. actual performance and provide insights for variance analysis.

3. Accounts Management:

- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.

- Reconcile bank statements and ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded in the general ledger.

4. Tax Compliance:

- Manage all aspects of tax compliance, including VAT and income tax, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.

- Stay updated on local tax regulations.

- Knowledgeable in VAT filing, Returns, and best practices.

5. Internal Controls:

- Design, implement, and maintain internal controls and processes to ensure financial integrity and compliance.

- Conduct regular audits of financial processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement.

6. Financial Analysis:

- Perform financial analysis to support decision-making, including cost analysis, profitability analysis, and financial modeling.

- Provide management with actionable insights based on financial data.

7. Collaboration with IT and Project Teams:

- Work closely with project managers to track project costs and ensure alignment with financial projections.

- Provide financial insights into the feasibility of IT projects and initiatives.

8. Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and standards in the UAE, including adherence to external audit practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
