Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our Contracting company in the UAE. The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of accounting experience in the contracting industry and possess solid knowledge of purchasing processes. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and supporting procurement activities to ensure smooth project execution.

Responsibilities:

-Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial records.

-Handle invoicing, billing, and expense tracking.

-Assist with budgeting and financial reporting.

-Support the purchasing department with procurement documentation and processes.

-Arrange inventory and checking of materials

-Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies.

-Reconcile accounts and prepare financial statements.

-Liaise with vendors and suppliers as needed.

Accounting Duties:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in our accounting system.
  • Record daily transactions including invoices, payments, expenses, and bank entries.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, reconciliations, and expense breakdowns.
  • Support payroll preparation and staff reimbursements.
  • Assist with VAT filings, compliance, and coordination with external auditors when needed.
  • Provide insights and support management with budgeting and financial forecasting.

Administrative Duties:

  • Oversee daily office operations and maintain smooth administrative workflows.
  • Maintain and organize company records, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners, and service providers.
  • Manage basic HR functions such as attendance tracking, leave schedules, and employee records.
  • Assist with scheduling, meeting coordination, and communication between departments.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting and administrative roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software's.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace.
  • Understanding of UAE VAT regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High attention to detail, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED3,000.00 per month

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

  • Fire Fighting Contracting (UAE): 2 years (Required)
  • Export & Import Customs Clearance (UAE): 1 year (Required)
