General Accountant

Job Title: General Accountant
Location: Dubai, UAE
Salary: AED 3,500 – 4,500/month (Based on experience)

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant with 3–4 years of experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles and hands-on experience in handling full-cycle accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Finance:

• Manage complete accounting cycle including journal entries, ledger posting, and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
• Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with UAE regulations
• Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
• Assist in audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures

Payroll & Administration Support:

• Process payroll and maintain employee payroll records
• Monitor expenses and cost control
• Support management with financial analysis and reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–4 years of proven experience as a General Accountant (UAE experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and UAE VAT regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or ERP systems)
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Good communication skills in English
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Immediate joiners preferred
