About the Role

Siddiq Gifts, a rapidly growing retail company in the UAE, is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented General Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain organized accounting records, and support the company in achieving strong financial control.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, invoices, receipts, and daily transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets.
• Handle VAT calculations, submissions, and ensure tax compliance.
• Process payroll and employee salary disbursements.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and expenses.
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in UAE (retail or trading sector preferred).
• Proficiency with accounting software such as ,XERO ,QuickBooks, Tally, or SAP.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping, VAT, and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills.
• Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
