General Accountant

Job Description:
AGSS Legal Consultancy is looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to manage all accounting, financial reporting, and compliance-related activities for the firm. The ideal candidate should have experience handling accounts in a professional services or legal environment and be capable of managing financial operations independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Maintain general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Manage invoicing, billing, and client account reconciliation
• Monitor receivables and coordinate with the recovery team
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure UAE tax compliance
• Handle payroll processing and WPS compliance
• Prepare budgets, cash flow statements, and financial forecasts
• Coordinate with external auditors and banks
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records
• Assist management with financial analysis and reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience (experience in legal consultancy preferred)
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality

Preferred Skills:

• Experience handling client trust accounts
• Knowledge of legal billing procedures
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
