The GL Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, performing monthly closing activities, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and supporting audits. The role requires strong analytical skills and solid knowledge of accounting principles.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries accurately and on time.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and chart of accounts.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and company accounting policies.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate financial data
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- 1.5 to 2 years of experience in General Ledger or Accounting
- Strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
