The Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and optimizing the movement of goods, materials, and shipments to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery. The role works closely with suppliers, transporters, warehouses, and internal stakeholders to support smooth logistics and supply chain operations.</li>
<li>Key Responsibilities</li>
<li><ul><li>Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments (local and/or international).
</li><li>Plan and monitor transportation routes, schedules, and delivery timelines.
</li><li>Prepare and review shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, delivery notes, customs documents if applicable).
</li><li>Liaise with freight forwarders, transport companies, customs brokers, and suppliers.
</li><li>Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, damages, or discrepancies.
</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local/international regulations.
</li><li>Monitor logistics costs and support cost optimization initiatives.
</li><li>Maintain accurate logistics records and reports in the system.
</li><li>Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, sales, and finance teams.
</li><li>Support inventory accuracy by aligning deliveries with warehouse capacity and demand.
</li><li>Handle customer or internal inquiries related to shipment status.
</li><li>Participate in continuous improvement of logistics processes.</li>

</ul>Requirements<ul>

<li>2&ndash;4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain roles.
</li><li>Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, agriculture, or trading environments is a plus.

</li><li>Knowledge of shipping documentation and transport operations.
</li><li>Good communication and coordination skills.
</li><li>Strong problem-solving and follow-up abilities.

</li><li>Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.

Logistics Specialist

<div>1- End-to-End Logistics Management (Export &amp; Import) 
Plan, execute, and optimize all inbound and outbound logistics activities, including exports of agricultural products and imports of machinery, equipment, fertilizers, spare parts, and operational materials.
2- Freight, Transport &amp; 3PL Management 
Select, contract, and manage freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, and transport providers; negotiate rates; optimize routes and container utilization; and ensure service level compliance.
3- Customs, Government Agencies &amp; Trade Compliance 
Act as the main point of contact with authorities whenever required, ensuring smooth clearance and full regulatory compliance
4- Export Subsidy File Management 
Oversee and follow up the export subsidy file, ensuring accurate documentation, timely submission, and full compliance with government subsidy program requirements to maximize financial recovery.
5- Documentation &amp; International Trade Execution 
Ensure accuracy and completeness of all logistics documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, phytosanitary certificates, bills of lading, airway bills, and insurance documents.
6- Cold Chain, Quality &amp; Asset Protection 
Safeguard product quality through strict cold chain control for perishable exports; monitor temperature logs; investigate logistics-related quality claims; and protect high-value equipment and machinery during transport.
7- Cost Control, Budgeting &amp; Performance Management 
Develop and manage the logistics budget; track KPIs such as OTIF, cost per shipment, transit time variance, claims rate, and container utilization; and identify cost-saving and efficiency improvement opportunities.
8- Stakeholder Coordination, Risk Management &amp; Process Improvement 
Coordinate closely with Farms, Packing Houses, Sales, Quality, Finance, and External Partners; manage logistics risks (port congestion, weather, container shortages, regulatory changes); and drive continuous process improvement and digitization.
Requirements
Education:<ul>
<li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.</li>
<li>Professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CILT, FIATA) is a strong advantage.</li>
</ul>
Experience<ul>
<li>
7-10 years of experience in logistics operations (export &amp; import), preferably in agri-business, manufacturing, FMCG, or perishables.</li>
<li>Proven experience managing international shipments, cold chain logistics, and export documentation.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping lines.</li>
<li>Experience in Middle East, Europe, or GCC export markets is a strong plus.</li>
</ul>
