General Accountant

· Experience in MEP or any contracting or construction company

Maintain books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations

· Prepare and review financial statements, trial balance, and MIS reports

· Perform bank, cash, and vendor reconciliations

· Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

· Support month-end and year-end closing activities

· Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes

· Record day-to-day accounting transactions accurately

· Perform bank and cash reconciliations

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports

· Process monthly payroll including salary calculations, deductions, and net pay

· Vendor invoice verification and payment processing

· 1–3 years of experience in an audit firm or accounts department
