General Accountant

We are seeking a qualified General Accountant with strong experience in Construction and Contracting Companies, along with a solid background in Auditing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Accounting Operations, Project Financials, and Ensuring compliance with accounting and audit standards. Reporting to Accounts & Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain full set of Financial Accounts and General Ledger
• Handle construction and contracting project accounting and job costing
• Prepare budgets, cost analysis, and variance reports
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
• Coordinate internal and external audits and provide audit support
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws and company policies
• Support Accounts Manager with financial reports and analysis.
• Experience in handling Payroll

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum Two years of experience in Construction & Contracting Company
• Proven Auditing Experience
• Strong knowledge of Job Costing and Project-Based Accounting
• Experience with accounting software ZOHO Books/ ERP systems
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Experience handling multiple projects
• Vat return filing and declaration

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
