General Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant with a strong background in the Hospitality Industry to manage financial transactions, prepare reports, and assist with budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, maintaining compliance with regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Process and reconcile daily cash receipts and credit card payments.
• Assist with the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flow analysis.
• Coordinate with the internal and external auditors for annual audits and compliance checks.
• Ensure compliance with VAT and other local tax regulations.
• Handle banking relationships and manage cash flow.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience in the hospitality industry (hotels, resorts, restaurants).
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and accounting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
