General Accountant

Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Aluminium & Glass Workshop. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting operations, handle company financial records, and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions related to materials, fabrication, and project work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain all financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments).
• Prepare and maintain daily, monthly, and annual financial reports.
• Handle petty cash, supplier payments, and customer invoices.
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain ledgers.
• Assist in preparing project costing, profit analysis.
• Manage payroll and staff expense reports.
• Coordinate with management for financial planning and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and filing requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks
• Good understanding of UAE VAT system.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
