General Accountant

About the Job

We are looking for a highly organized and analytical Accountant to manage and optimize our financial operations. This role goes beyond traditional accounting — we need someone who can build systems, generate insights, and support business decisions.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with accounting systems (such as Quickbooks or similar platforms), while also being capable of structuring financial workflows from scratch.

Contract Type: Full-time (Hybrid/Remote)

Location: UAE

Experience Level: Mid–Senior

Start Date: Immediate

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience as an Accountant in UAE.
• Strong understanding of cash flow management and financial operations.
• Knowledge of accounting software and tools (eg. Quickbooks), as well as advanced proficiency in spreadsheet applications.
• Manage vendors, payment schedules, r eview contracts and payment terms.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate insightful internal reports.
• Good knowledge of UAE tax regulations to prepare tax filings.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
• Prior experience in financial auditing or in a professional services environment is an advantage
