General Accountant

Job Title: Accountant (Automotive Garage Industry)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our automotive garage team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting practices within the automotive service industry, including handling parts inventory, job costing, and service-related financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable
• Monitor and record all financial transactions related to garage services and spare parts sales
• Prepare invoices, receipts, and maintain accurate financial records
• Handle payroll processing and staff expense tracking
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts
• Track inventory costs for spare parts and ensure proper valuation
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and VAT requirements
• Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Coordinate with auditors and support audit processes when required
• Assist with data entry of invoices, receipts, and payments
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes
• Requirements:
• Must having in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the automotive or garage industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel
• Familiarity with inventory management and job costing systems
• Knowledge of VAT and local financial regulations
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
