GENERAL ACCOUNTANT

Job Description

ACQUIRED COMPETENCIES BASED ON JOB ROLE:

  • Understand NFP business environment and objectives. Interpret and apply internal policies and procedures.
  • Communicate and deliver information in a business context both verbally and in writing in a clear, concise, and comprehensive manner.
  • Monitor, collect and interpret a range of raw

data from various sources, evaluate/analyze results and create reports to assist decision making process in various aspects of work at NAPCO.

  • Knowledge of, and the ability to use National

and Foreign languages both spoken and written.

  • Organize and plan work/project activities to

efficiently accomplish tasks and meet short & long term objectives.

  • Understand and effectively use standard equipment and office automation systems and software.
  • Identify key financial assumptions and perform yearly budgets and monthly forecasts.
  • Generate and analyze cash management reports in preparation for actions to optimize cash flow.
  • Use cost accounting principles to compare, analyze standard cost, actual cost results, and provide feedback on areas of improvement.
  • Effectively manage credit activities and credit limits granted to customers in line with Napco Sales & Credit Policy.
  • Knowledge of financial instruments and derivatives. Prepare and analyze financial statements and perform credit worthiness based on financial ratios, feasibility studies, and derive conclusions to assist managerial decision making.
  • Audit accounting transactions, financial statements and general statistics reports based on preset requirements and accounting compliance.
  • Create economic value by using finance assumptions and rules to manage exposure to various forms of financial risks, and to identify, measure, and mitigate the different financial risks.
  • Knowledge in the accounting principles. Prepare accounting transactions on the financial statements, track the transactions via the application and reconcile it to the original documents, in accordance with applicable accounting principles.
  • Understand, analyze and evaluate Internal Control Measures/procedures and provide feedback on areas of improvement.
  • Knowledge in various commercial, trade, taxation laws, and INCOTERMS pertaining to NAPCO’s operations and country terms.
