General Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in a contracting or construction company and possess strong knowledge of accounting procedures, financial reporting, and ERP systems. Experience with SAP is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
• Monitor project-related costs and expenses.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Coordinate with procurement, project, and HR departments for financial documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE financial regulations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and filing systems.
• Generate financial reports and support management with financial analysis.
• Work on ERP/accounting software, preferably SAP.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a contracting/construction company.
• Knowledge of VAT and UAE accounting practices.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in project accounting and cost control.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
