Job Description:

Chillco Building Contracting Co. LLC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have accounting experience in a construction or contracting company and be able to handle day-to-day accounting operations independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting transactions and bookkeeping.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare supplier payments and follow up on collections.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Monitor project expenses and assist with cost tracking.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and account reconciliations.
• Process petty cash transactions and expense reports.
• Support payroll preparation and salary processing.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards.
• Maintain organised financial documentation and records.
• Coordinate with procurement, HR, and project teams regarding financial matters.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Previous experience in a construction or contracting company is preferred.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills in English.
