General Accountant

Job Title: General Accountant

Industry: Electronics Trading & Distribution (Dubai)

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to manage

the day-to-day financial operations of our electronics retail and distribution

business. The role ensures accurate accounting, effective financial control, and

compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, payments,

and journal entries.

• Manage general ledger, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Initiate and process payments through online banking platforms after proper

verification and authorized approvals.

• Reconcile retail sales, inter-branch transactions, and distribution accounts.
• Monitor inventory, warehouse stock, and fixed assets, including periodic stock audits.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and support annual financial statements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations, including accurate

calculation and timely filing.

• Coordinate with sales and logistics teams for billing accuracy, credit control, and stock

movement reconciliation.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 2–5 years of UAE experience in trading, retail, or distribution (electronics preferred).
• Working knowledge of Zoho Books, Odoo, or similar ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax laws.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
