General Accountant – Healthcare (Home Healthcare Preferred)

Job Summary

Lana Life Care LLC is seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented General Accountant with healthcare industry experience, preferably in home healthcare. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently and possess strong expertise in financial reporting, ledger management, and profit & loss analysis. Immediate availability is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare and analyze Profit & Loss statements, balance sheets, and financial reports.
  • Handle bank reconciliations, vendor accounts, and customer account settlements.
  • Manage and monitor healthcare-related procurement and purchase records.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including timely filing and documentation.
  • Oversee payroll processing in line with UAE labor laws and company policies.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Track and control office and operational expenses.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.
  • Coordinate with auditors and provide required documentation during audits.
  • Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, policies, and procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
  • Proven experience as a General Accountant in the healthcare sector (home healthcare experience preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of UAE VAT laws and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Zoho (Books/Payroll) and advanced Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
  • Strong familiarity with payroll processing, including salary calculations, WPS compliance, and employee deductions.
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting, ledger management, and P&L analysis.
  • Experience handling healthcare-related purchasing and expense tracking.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Must be immediately available to join.
