Job Summary
Lana Life Care LLC is seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented General Accountant with healthcare industry experience, preferably in home healthcare. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently and possess strong expertise in financial reporting, ledger management, and profit & loss analysis. Immediate availability is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze Profit & Loss statements, balance sheets, and financial reports.
- Handle bank reconciliations, vendor accounts, and customer account settlements.
- Manage and monitor healthcare-related procurement and purchase records.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including timely filing and documentation.
- Oversee payroll processing in line with UAE labor laws and company policies.
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Track and control office and operational expenses.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required documentation during audits.
- Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, policies, and procedures.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Proven experience as a General Accountant in the healthcare sector (home healthcare experience preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of UAE VAT laws and compliance.
- Proficiency in Zoho (Books/Payroll) and advanced Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
- Strong familiarity with payroll processing, including salary calculations, WPS compliance, and employee deductions.
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, ledger management, and P&L analysis.
- Experience handling healthcare-related purchasing and expense tracking.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Must be immediately available to join.
