General Accountant – Trading Company (UAE Experience Required)

We are looking for a General Accountant with strong experience in UAE trading companies. The

ideal candidate must be capable of managing day-to-day accounting operations, handling

VAT compliance and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions, including AR, AP, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Handle VAT computation, filing, and compliance as per UAE laws.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy in all entries.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Coordinate with suppliers and customers for invoice and payment follow-ups.
• Prepare reports for management review and assist in budgeting and cost control.
• Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience in a UAE trading company (Marine or
• Industrial background preferred).
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (Cloudme, Zoho Book, or similar).
• Solid understanding of UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
