General Automotive Technician / Light Duty Mechanic

Schedule:

• Two Positions Available:
• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday – Wednesday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Additional Availability: Weekend availability preferred for on-call rotation

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Automotive Technician to join our team. This position involves performing a wide range of mechanical repairs both in-shop and through roadside service calls. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic abilities, hands-on repair experience, and a team-oriented mindset.
We also welcome apprentices and interns who are eager to learn the trade, gain hands-on experience, and grow within the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, brake services, tire replacements, and general mechanical work
• Conduct diagnostic testing and accurately interpret results to identify mechanical issues
• Provide roadside repair services as needed
• Safely operate power tools, machinery, and hand tools in accordance with industry standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license (required)
• Ability to successfully complete a DOT Physical (required)
• Prior experience with rollback/tow truck operation preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Apprenticeships and internships are encouraged; willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are essential

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
