We are seeking a highly organized and efficient General Cashier / Paymaster to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for managing cash transactions, maintaining financial records, and ensuring accurate payroll processing for our organization.
- Handle cash transactions, including receiving payments, issuing receipts, and managing petty cash
- Process payroll for employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments
- Maintain detailed financial records and reconcile accounts daily
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash registers with precision
- Prepare and submit regular financial reports to management
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as needed
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and financial matters
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Implement and maintain cash control procedures to prevent loss and fraud
- Experience with the Oasys System is a MUST.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar cashier or paymaster role
- Proven experience in cash handling and financial record-keeping
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of UAE financial regulations and practices (preferred)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
