About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a General Cashier join our Finance  team at Jumeirah The Red Sea . The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Manage daily receipts and payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial procedures and policies.
  • Handle daily cash transactions, including issuing IOUs, processing expense claims payments, and issuing cash advances, while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Clear cash IOUs and advances promptly, prepare daily cash transactions reports, and forward them to the Finance Manager or Assistant Finance Manager for review.
  • Verify the accuracy of all transactions before releasing payments, ensuring proper documentation and approval processes are followed.
  • Control all receipts from the Jumeirah Village Mini Market, prepare daily sales reports, and coordinate cash deposit procedures with Trans guard Services.


About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience working in a Finance department, with a solid understanding of
  • Collaborates effectively with internal stakeholders including Payroll, Department Heads, and Finance, as well as external partners such as Suppliers and Auditors.
  • Holds a High School Diploma (essential); a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related field is preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, supporting accurate financial documentation and reporting.
  • Strong behavioral competencies including problem solving, creativity, leadership, project management, and attention to detail.
