General Cleaner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic General Cleaner to join our team! Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
• Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting surfaces, trash removal, and restocking supplies as needed
• Conduct carpet cleaning, floor care, and other specialized cleaning tasks to ensure surfaces are well-maintained
• Assist with laundry duties and manage basic housekeeping tasks in residential or hospitality settings
• Support customer service efforts by addressing cleaning requests promptly and professionally
• Follow safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe work environment
• Collaborate with team members to complete custodial tasks efficiently and uphold cleanliness standards across all areas

Requirements

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred; hotel or commercial cleaning background is a plus
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and laundry operations
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle cleaning equipment safely and follow health and safety regulations
• Customer service skills to interact positively with staff and visitors when needed
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if required
