General Cleaning Supervisor – Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities of staff across assigned areas (offices, buildings, facilities, etc.).
- Assign tasks and schedules to cleaning staff to ensure all areas are maintained to the required hygiene and safety standards.
- Inspect work areas regularly to ensure cleanliness, quality, and compliance with company standards.
- Train, guide, and monitor cleaning staff in proper use of cleaning equipment, materials, and chemicals.
- Ensure availability of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed.
- Handle staff attendance, shift planning, and performance monitoring.
- Maintain records of cleaning schedules, staff reports, and incident logs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or repairs needed to the management.
- Motivate staff and resolve conflicts or complaints within the cleaning team.
- Coordinate with management and other departments for special cleaning requirements or events.
- Monitor the proper use and upkeep of cleaning equipment and machinery.
