General Contracting Estimator (Civil & MEP)

Count Consult is seeking a talented and detail-oriented General Contracting Estimator with expertise in Civil and MEP trades for U.S.-based projects.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on precision, enjoys analyzing blueprints, and understands the art of turning data into strategy. You’ll collaborate with international clients, prepare competitive bids, and help our team bring accuracy and value to every project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Civil and MEP quantity take-offs following CSI MasterFormat standards.
• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and bid proposals for U.S. construction projects.
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and scope to ensure comprehensive cost coverage.
• Participate in client meetings, discussing scopes, clarifications, and revisions.
• Support management in bid reviews, cost optimization, and project budgeting.
• Mentor junior estimators, ensuring consistency and high-quality deliverables.
• Maintain and update pricing data, supplier rates, and cost benchmarks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or a related Engineering field.
• Proven experience in Civil & MEP estimating for U.S. general contracting projects.
• Strong understanding of CSI MasterFormat and U.S. construction standards.
• Proficiency in Planswift, Bluebeam, or equivalent estimation software.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under tight deadlines.
