General Dentist

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. Build your own schedule. Do you need evening hours or weekend hours? We can accommodate. The office shifts will be 8am to 2pm, and 2pm to 8pm. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and have experience in various dental procedures, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues, providing preventive care, and ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and patient comfort.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine dental health status.
• Perform a range of dental procedures including but not limited to dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques in all clinical procedures.
• Stay updated with advancements in dental technology and practices, including familiarity with software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix.

Experience

• Proven experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology is essential.
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus for those working with younger patients.
• Familiarity with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry is beneficial.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $120,000.00 - $450,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
