General Dentist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry, with experience in dentistry and oral surgery. This role requires excellent patient care skills, the ability to assess patient needs, and proficiency in various dental software systems. The Dentist will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care while ensuring compliance with all health regulations.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
• Execute dental extractions and root canal therapy with precision.
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, procedures, and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques to improve patient outcomes.

Skills

• Proficiency in dental software such as Open Dental
• Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical terminology relevant to the field.
• Knowledge of anatomy related to dentistry and medical imaging techniques.
• Experience in pediatric dentistry with a focus on creating a positive experience for young patients.
• Ability to perform dental fabrication tasks as needed for prosthetics or orthodontics.
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control measures in a clinical setting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with patients and staff alike.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $600.00 - $1,000.00 per day

Expected hours: 8 per week

Work Location: In person
