Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry and specialized skills in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and various dental procedures. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing assessments, and ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our patients.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine dental health status.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including but not limited to general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
- Execute dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other necessary treatments with precision and care.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, procedures, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and medical terminology relevant to patient care.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is highly desirable along with familiarity with the unique needs of young patients.
- Demonstrated ability in performing various dental procedures including root canal therapy, dental extractions, and prosthodontics.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and medical imaging practices is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and comfort.
