Job Title: General Dentist

Location: Apollo Dental Clinic Jakkur Bengaluru

Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate General Dentist to join our team. The General Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing various dental conditions, providing routine dental care, and promoting overall oral health. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of dental skills and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examinations and diagnosis: Perform comprehensive dental exams and identify dental issues such as cavities, gum disease, and other oral health concerns.
  • Preventive care: Provide professional cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants to prevent dental problems.
  • Restorative procedures: Perform procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and root canals to restore damaged or decayed teeth.
  • Extractions: Perform tooth extractions and manage post-operative care.
  • Cosmetic dentistry: Provide cosmetic treatments such as teeth whitening, veneers, and bonding to enhance the appearance of patients' smiles.
  • Patient education: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, diet, and lifestyle habits that contribute to long-term dental health.
  • Treatment planning: Develop individualized treatment plans for patients and coordinate with specialists when needed.
  • Record keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Emergency care: Provide immediate care for dental emergencies, including pain management and treatment of trauma.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD).
  • Licensing: Valid dental license to practice in Bengaluru Karnataka
  • Experience: Proven experience as a General Dentist with the ability to perform a wide range of dental procedures.
  • Skills: Strong diagnostic skills, manual dexterity, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients.
  • Patient Care: Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a focus on building long-term relationships.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with digital radiography and dental software (e.g., EMR).
  • Ability to manage anxious or fearful patients with empathy and care.
  • Continuing education or training in advanced dental procedures.

Working Conditions:

  • Environment: Clinical setting with modern equipment to provide high-quality dental care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
