Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality patient care and possess a strong foundation in various dental specialties including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues, educating patients on oral health, and ensuring compliance with all health regulations.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose dental conditions.
  • Provide a range of treatments including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
  • Perform oral surgeries as needed while adhering to aseptic techniques.
  • Utilize medical imaging and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry approach to enhance patient care.
  • Educate patients on preventive care and proper oral hygiene practices.
  • Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Manage medical records efficiently, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Stay current with advancements in dental technology and procedures.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
  • Proficiency in dental software systems.
  • Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus; familiarity with the unique needs of children in a clinical setting.
  • Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology.
  • Ability to perform various dental procedures including endodontics, oral surgery, and dental fabrication.
  • Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $144,653.20 - $174,206.02 per year
