Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry and specialized skills in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and various dental procedures. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing assessments, and developing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. This role requires excellent communication skills, a commitment to infection control, and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and examinations to diagnose dental conditions.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
- Execute dental extractions and root canal therapy with precision and care.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure optimal patient care.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques, including medical imaging and aseptic techniques.
- Uphold strict infection control protocols within the clinic environment.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to the field.
- Experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
- Ability to perform complex procedures with attention to detail and patient comfort.
