Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry and experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and various dental procedures. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting assessments, and performing a range of dental treatments while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation.

Duties

  • Perform comprehensive dental examinations and patient assessments to determine treatment plans.
  • Provide preventive care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
  • Conduct restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, and bridges.
  • Perform oral surgeries, including extractions and root canal therapy.
  • Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques, including medical imaging and infection control protocols.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
  • Proficiency in dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
  • Experience in pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental fabrication techniques.
  • Ability to perform procedures with aseptic technique and maintain infection control standards.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages.
