General Dentist

San Diego, United States

About the Opportunity

San Diego Smile Center/Kearny Mesa Smile Center is excited to welcome a well-rounded, experienced Associate Dentist to our dynamic team. We are a single-doctor practice looking for an independent professional who can handle a broad range of dental procedures and contribute to our comprehensive approach to patient care.

What We’re Looking For

We seek an associate who:

  • Has at least 4-5 years of clinical experience and can manage a variety of general dentistry cases independently.
  • Is comfortable performing extractions, bone grafts, and root canals (including molar endo if possible), but also appreciates the full spectrum of general and restorative dentistry.
  • Is willing to embrace and learn implant placement if not already experienced—while implant skills are a plus, a willingness to grow in this area is just as valuable.
  • Values continuous education and is eager to advance their skills, including working with CEREC for quadrant dentistry. We want someone who can take advantage of opportunities to do more than single-tooth treatments—like completing multiple procedures in the same quadrant or addressing opposing teeth when appropriate.
  • If Invisalign certified, that’s a bonus, as we offer Invisalign and appreciate providers who can support our orthodontic patients as well.

About Our Practice

At San Diego Smile Center, we pride ourselves on a comprehensive, patient-focused approach. Our practice is modern and forward-thinking, with CEREC technology and a wide range of services from implants to Invisalign. We encourage our team to pursue continuing education and grow in all aspects of dentistry.

How to Apply

If you’re an experienced, growth-oriented dentist ready to join a supportive and innovative practice, we’d love to hear from you.

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state dental license with no restrictions on practice.

  • Familiarity with dental fabrication processes is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
  • Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and empathetically.
