Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including diagnostics and personalized treatment planning using the latest tools and imaging technologies.
- Execute diverse procedures such as fillings, crowns, extractions, root canals, implants, and restorative dentistry.
- Educate patients on preventive oral health strategies, hygiene best practices, and lifestyle impacts for long-term wellness.
- Maintain meticulous, HIPAA-compliant patient records and leverage digital tools for seamless documentation.
- Uphold the highest standards of infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols in every procedure.
- Partner with hygienists, assistants, and specialists for efficient, four-handed dentistry and integrated care.
- Stay ahead of industry trends by participating in continuing education on emerging dental technologies, like digital scanning and laser-assisted treatments.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education & Licensure: DMD or DDS from an accredited program; active Texas dental license (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Experience: 2+ years in general dentistry preferred; hands-on expertise in endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Pediatric dentistry experience is a plus!
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with leading dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental) and digital radiography systems.
- Core Knowledge: In-depth understanding of dental anatomy, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology.
